Still no word

Its been more than a couple months the last time I posted. I still have no word on Poland, but I'm hoping to get sent to the city of Krakow, or Gdansk. I know that patience is the key, and the anxiety of knowing where I am going is not very high, as I am busy with my language. I do have the Rosetta Stone software and it works amazingly well. Also next Saturday is the outbound BBQ in Edmonton! I am so excited to see everyone once again since March, and I'm hoping to get some municipality pins for it as well to give to all the other outbounds. I will hopefully start blogging almost every night when I am in Poland. Until next time.

Its Just the Beginning

Wow, my first blog post, I know that some may seem that it is rather early to start blogging because we haven't departed yet. But I want to get every aspect of my exchange and not just the trip. This weekend the spring orientation was held, and it was amazing! I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world, and I learned how to rollerskate :D Also the orientation has given me a large to do list which will keep me busy and make the time between here and August travel faster. All of the outbounds need to write a large paper on the country that they are going to including factors such as Economy, Religion, Geography, etc. Also we have our Visa forms now, and now I am going to be very anxious to receive m guarantee form and get in touch with my first host family. I have had some thought on the language learning as well, and I am thinking of getting the Rosetta Stone software as well, and Polish grammar books. There may be few tasks to perform, but they are rather large tasks to keep me busy too! I am so excited to depart to Poland, and I am also excited for all the other exchange students and their experiences as well. Until Next time,
