Wow, departure time is coming up so fast, it may be another month and a half before I leave, but it will go rather fast, as I have summer school and french to work on. I have finally received the place where im going and its a city called Częstochowa, which is a city about twice the size of Fort McMurray, with about 200 000 people. I actually go to school in Częstochowa, and I've been told its a private school which is used to exchange students which is even better. I live in a village called Konopiska which is about 10km outside of the city and this village only has 2000 people. I have attempted twice to get a contact of my host family but they havent yet replied, I emailed them in Polish and English so I'm hoping that they will email back really soon! I got my full guarantee form as well, and the Poland rotary district has all these amazing trips, such as a four capitals tour, a euro tour!, and a couple more optional ones! And the mandatory ones sound awesome too! In september im going to Torun, and December Wroclaw! And even my most anticipated city to visit, Krakow is one of the mandatory trips as well! It seems too good for this to be happening, and I just can't believe that it actually is. Only one day after i get there I get to go to Krakow!!!!! For TEN days!!! A language camp is why im going, but I am more excited to meet the exchange students! I just hope I make all my flights, i have the most insane layover in Frankfurt. I fly from Fort McMurray - Calgary - Frankfurt - Warsaw, and I have to get through Frankfurt in only one hour, and Frankfurt is one of the biggest airports in the world! As from how to get to Warsaw to Częstochowa probably by train or bus. I cannot beleive that in only fort two days that I will be in a country which I have wanted to go to since grade eight! And now its happening! Hopefully next time I blog I will actually be in Poland! Until next time,
Joshua
